Data science use case: robotic assisted surgery
De afgelopen maanden heeft 6Gorilla’s Data Scientist David Vichansky onderzoek gedaan bij een opdrachtgever die nog betere zorg wil leveren door de toepassing van data science ter optimalisatie van een operatierobot.
In de webinar, die in het Engels wordt gegeven, deelt David zijn ervaringen: “Most surgical fields are traditionally very analogue. With the introduction of surgical robots, digital solutions enter this world. By leveraging data scientific tools we can efficiently measure performance of surgeons, increase productivity of healthcare professionals, as well as enhance patient pathway.
The project focuses on:
- Identifying the golden standard for surgeons in robotic assisted surgery.
- Enriching the patient pathway through the data warehouse.”
